It's a new day on Erraid, June already, after spending last of the night watching Clint Eastwood's Changeling, shocked to know it was a true story.
Communal discussion has turned to the brownish peat originating tap water, more on that later, but it's academic for me as the water supply to Pier Cottage appears to have dried up.
Instead it's up early to collect some fresh water from an island punp to be found just past that fat rooster. The builder's tea tastes and looks just fine whilst the sawdust run-rate used remains constant.
Here is the famous Wishing Stone of Erraid near the summit of Cnoc Mor, I visited it a couple of days ago in the sunshine, leaving a secret wish behind.
